My main research interests are the effects of environmental change on physiological patterns and individual variation.
I joined the Chown Lab in October 2015 and my current research looks at the effects of environmental variation on thermal tolerances in Collembola.
I hold Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Science in Biomedical Diagnostics from Arizona State University in Tempe, USA. My undergraduate research was focused on ecological and evolutionary physiology where I was analysing the effects of different environmental oxygen levels on developmental plasticity of D.melanogaster using 3D imaging. My graduate research project was in collaboration with Biodesign Institute where I performed statistical analysis of novel immunosignature diagnostic technology data and identification of peptides that form distinct immunosignatures as an organism’s response to a particular disease.
